Founder and CEO
John founded Wincline in June, 2016 with over a decade of experience in sales and the employee benefits industry. He did so with a simple mission: To change the way employers experience healthcare by eliminating the greed and inefficiency in the benefits industry.
As a fee-only, independent employee benefits advisor, John specializes in working with his clients to navigate cost-saving, higher quality benefit solutions. He strives to first understand the company’s business, and only then designs innovative benefits plans to align with their corporate objectives.
John leads his team with a broad base of specialties including employee communications, benefits technology, plan design analysis, consumer-driven health plans, and extensive experience in the development and implementation of employer sponsored onsite clinics and wellness programs. He’s been in this industry long enough to know what works and what doesn’t. As such, he’s highly effective at cutting through nonsense and uncovering waste, fraud, and mismanagement in the healthcare industry.
John previously worked with MJ Insurance as an employee benefits consultant. He played an integral role in expanding the Benefits Consulting department at their Southwest Phoenix office, and became one of the youngest principles in the company’s history after MJ continued to experience double-digit revenue growth year-on-year.
John has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Education from the University of Kansas. He holds membership in many different insurance carrier broker advisory councils, and is involved in much community work. Namely, as an Organizer and Host of the Waste Management Phoenix Open run by the Thunderbirds, as a volunteer for the Special Olympics, and as a philanthropist to the United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona.
It’s hard to find free time when you’re a CEO who’s trying to fix healthcare, but John manages some. In it, he enjoys watching and coaching football with his two young boys, spending time with his wife, Whitney, and going on the occasional family vacation.
Jennifer leads up our service team and is passionate about growing Wincline’s team and providing clients with “knock your socks off service.” Jennifer and her team truly care about the wellbeing of Wincline’s clients, their employees and their families and are making a difference in the healthcare industry as well as individual lives, daily.
Jennifer has worked in employee benefits for more than 18 years, first as a Benefits Administrator at Doctors Community Healthcare Corporation, and then as a Corporate Group Benefits Advisor at United Insurance Consultants, LLC. As such, she understands the nuances and complexity of the benefits industry. That capability, combined with her strong desire to guide and educate, allows her to build long-lasting client relationships.
Jennifer is a native Arizonan. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University, where she double majored in Business and Psychology.
She is very involved with her church, supports I-Help – Tempe Community Action Agency and the Robert Tate Dyslexia Foundation with philanthropy, and volunteers her time with the JDRF Foundation, Feed My Starving Children, and Midwest Food Bank.
Jennifer and her husband, Cicio, enjoy spending time together outdoors hiking and camping with their two boys. She loves supporting her boys in their many sporting endeavors (Football, Volleyball, and BMX Racing). As if all that weren’t enough, Jennifer has a bit of a green thumb and likes to garden on the side. You should ask her about it sometime!
